Luxury Motorcars is excited to bring to you our latest offering in the form of this 135 mile- Accelerate Yellow over Black- Corvette C8-R. The IMSA GTLM Championship C8-R Edition was introduced on the C8 Corvette Stingray for the 2022 model year and is intended to mark Corvette Racing’s impressive championship-winning IMSA season – which was the first season with the new mid-engine Corvette C8.R race car.  The Corvette C8.R builds upon six successful years of racing from its predecessor C7-R, and debuted at the 2020 24 Hours of Daytona. Six months later, it returned to Daytona and won in just its second race out with, and the week after that, it scored its first 1-2 finish at Sebring International Raceway.

All Corvette Stingray IMSA GTLM Championship C8-R Edition models feature the automaker’s 6.2L LT2 V8 engine, which produces 495 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque when equipped with the optional Performance Exhaust. The IMSA GTLM Championship C8-R Edition package also requires the buyer to order the Z51 Performance Package with the vehicle, meaning the Performance Exhaust comes equipped on all C8-R Editions.

In addition to the unique Corvette C8-R-inspired graphics packs, the IMSA GTLM Championship C8.R Edition package also added the following equipment: High-wing spoiler finished in Carbon Flash- Yellow brake calipers- Black Trident design wheels, with the “Jake” logo on the center caps, and black lug nuts- Exterior mirrors in Carbon Flash- Black side rockers- Black splash guards

Number 269 of 1000 built and 1 of built 3 in this configuration as confirm by the Corvette Museum.  Notably with the CA compliant exhaust and current California registration can be an expensive and time consuming proposition for potential owners and this one is all ready to go!
