In 2005 Porsche introduced the Turbo S model which upgraded the standard 996 Turbo with the X50 Power Kit increasing horsepower from 415 to 444 by fitting K24 turbochargers, new intercoolers, electronic control unit, a higher manifold pressure, new catalytic converters, and special exhaust tips. It also included PCCB Carbon Ceramic Brakes as Standard, a CD changer, and aluminum-faced instruments.

Overall it has been extremely well preserved and is still utilizing all of its original components except for the addition of RUF wheels finished with OEM “Turbo” center caps.
