Offered for sale is quite possibly the most well preserved R230 generation Mercedes-Benz in existence. This 2003 SL55 AMG has had just one, extremely meticulous owner since new. 

It is reported that this vehicle was driven almost exclusively at night to avoid UV exposure and never taken to a destination that didn’t have a private garage for it to be parked in. It was never used to get groceries, never left in a parking lot, and exercised almost exclusively for preservation purposes when there was enough moon light to see more than just the road. 

When purchased new, in addition to the $124,130 original retail price, the selling dealer was able to secure a $25,870 markup and $5,995 for Chrome AMG Wheels bringing the sale price to $155,995. 

It has never been serviced anywhere but a Mercedes dealer since new and is sold with every service record going back to May 2003 with just 123 miles. Its maintenance history is as thorough as can be imagined. Nothing was ever deferred or neglected, everything was done on time as recommended by the dealer with the original paperwork to prove it. 

The only way to describe its condition is like new, every square inch of paint is essentially flawless. The story is the same through the interior, all the materials are what you would expect when taking delivery in 2003.

It comes with all the extra bits that were acquired and kept with the car over the years including the window sticker, wind deflector, unused original floor mats, cup holder, front plate holder, card keys, and Mercedes branded blanket for your passenger when driving on brisk nights with the top down.
